How does one go about starting a chapter?

This page right here will tell you everything you need to know about bringing a chapter of Literary League to your town/city. We refer to everyone who leads a chapter of Literary League as a chapter host.

What is a chapter host, exactly?

Our chapter hosts are the bread & butter of our community. They host city-specific discussions, organize chapter events, and serve as your go-to person.

How does Literary League support chapter hosts?

Excellent question! And, know that you won’t be going it alone.

Here’s how we’ll be supporting you each month.

  • We’ll be providing you with the book club selections up to 3 months in advance, so you have lots of time to prep for your monthly get-togethers.

  • Support with sending email reminders + get-together updates to your members.

  • Shout-outs on our social media to encourage attendees to join in on the book club fun.

  • Monthly get-together discussion questions sent 1 week in advance of each meet-up so you have plenty of time to look them over.

  • Your get-togethers listed on our site so you can easily gather RSVPs and send the event details to members.

  • Instagram story graphics to share on your own account (if you’d like!) to encourage new members to join your chapter, and more!
