Most Anticipated Books for Spring 2021

It’s officially spring! Now that April is almost here, we can finally break out our spring jackets and read our books outside! There are so many fantastic books coming out over the next few months, and we just can’t stop talking about them! Which are you most excited for?

Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne

I feel special because I got to read this book early. So trust me when I say you need to have this book on your radar! Sally Thorne is known for her phenomenal debut, The Hating Game, so I had high expectations for this one. It definitely succeeded at being an adorable, sweet, and tender romance! You’ll fall in love with Ruthie and Teddy, just like I did.

Ariadne by Jennifer Saint

First of all, this should be on your list because of the cover alone. Secondly, if you loved Circe or The Song of Achilles, this one is going to blow you away. It’s a retelling of the ancient Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, so sign us up.

Dial A For Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto

This one reminds us of our April pick, Arsenic and Adobo, so you know we’re excited! Murder, romance, and an adorable family are the makings of a perfect story. We’re hoping this one will be fun and make us laugh!

The Music of Bees by Eileen Garvin

There’s a viral TikTok video of a beekeeper, and it instantly reminded us about how excited we are for this book. But besides that, this story seems heartwarming story that explores anxiety and grief through a variety of ages and life experiences. I think I’ll really connect with this one, and I can’t wait to order my copy!

The Kingdoms by Natasha Pulley

I have been looking for something to follow up The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue—something that’s whimsical, makes me thinks, and transcends time. I think I may have found that withe The Kingdoms! It has time traveling, LGBT representation, and it’s supposed to make you feel all the emotions.

House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland

This is another case of a book cover being so beautiful that I wouldn’t even care what it’s about before putting it on my TBR. But, this book also has an amazing premise. It’s a haunting and creepy story about a girl trying to find her missing sister and the bizarre world she discovers.
